Gregor-Torsten Kozik war 1976 Mitbegründer der von der DDR-Staatssicherheit als subversiv eingestuften Künstlergruppe und Produzentengalerie „Clara Mosch“ und gehörte mit seinen Aktionen und Performances zur künstlerischen Avantgarde der DDR. 1979 erstmals Ausstellung seiner berühmten „Schwarzen Zeichnungen“ in der Galerie Arkade in Ostberlin.
