Ensemble of six b/w photographs (silver gelatin prints, vintage prints) and photo overpaintings, some with collage, in printed envelope by Rainer GÖRSS (*1960 GER). Each photograph hand signed, stamped and titled on the reverse.

Size: 30 x 40 cm to 30 x 42 cm

Condition: Almost perfect. Minor traces of ageing and handling. Some photographs slightly waved

Artist and oeuvre: Siehe Lexikoneintrag im „Bildatlas DDR Kunst“ oder Webseite des Künstlers. Rainer Görß war Mitglied der legendären Gruppe der Autoperforationsartisten (zusammen mit Else Gabriel, Via Lewandowsky und Micha Brendel), die mit ihren radikalen Aktionen und Performances zur Avantgarde der nonkonformistischen Kunstszene in der DDR gehörten. Arbeiten des Fotografen, Konzept- und Aktionskünstlers wurden auch in der DDR-Kunst Ausstellung „Gegenstimmen“ (Voices of Dissent) im Martin-Gropius-Bau in Berlin (2016) und in der Ausstellung „Point of No Return. Wende und Umbruch in der ostdeutschen Kunst“ im Museum der Bildenden Künste Leipzig (2019) gezeigt.
